If you are in need of a refreshing summer beverage you are in the right place. My fast and easy Sparkling Raspberry Soda will hit the spot.
It is true that we eat (or drink) with our eyes first. Bright colors tend to draw us in more than anything gray or brown. If you've ever tried to take an appealing photograph of a meatloaf you know what I'm talking about. When my kids saw the colors in this drink they all needed to try it. I reluctantly passed the glass around the room, hoping they didn't slurp it all down. Next time I'm going to triple this recipe so we have enough for one big glass and four little ones.
This is ready in under five minutes. It only takes a bit more time than opening a can of soda but it is completely worth it. It tastes much fresher and the flavors are more vibrant. With a quick whirl in the blender, the raspberry puree is ready to go. Pour into a glass, top with seltzer, and enjoy!

Nutrition
If you are counting carbs you can start with half the puree to 12 oz of seltzer. The flavor will be milder but still delicious. That would reduce it to 2 net carbs per serving.
