Hi everyone! This is Lindsay again from over at That’s Low Carb and today we are bringing you a recipe I’ve entirely forgotten about till just recent weeks.

These Ham and Cheese roll-ups have been made in our home for years, as long as I can remember. There was always a massive plate of these during every family function. As years have passed through for some reason they slowly began not being made.

Fewer family functions, less food, and just fewer family traditions. Sad how that begins happening as you get older and people begin moving away from each other.

Whipping these 3-ingredient Ham Roll-ups brought back ALL those feelings.

What do you need to make these ham roll ups?

  • Plain Ham
  • Green Onion
  • Cream Cheese

They really are that simple. I love easy recipes that still have a ton of flavor.

Some other options for Roll Ups:

1. Use another type of deli meat such as turkey or salami

2. Fill with a flavored cream cheese like garlic and herb or garden vegetable

3. Swap out the green onion for pickles, julienned vegetables, cheese, or crisp bacon

My husband was over the moon with these. He couldn’t believe in the 11 years we’ve been together I’ve never made these before. Truthfully, I’m a bit surprised by that as well.

I make our families low carb buffalo chicken meatballs on a regular, along with a low carb twist on our keto drop biscuits that are inspired by my families drop classic biscuits, but these ham and cheese roll-ups somehow missed their spot on the menu, until now. 😉

How to Make Ham Roll Ups?

You can make these for meal-preps or for when entertaining guests. We’ve been doing both.

Take your cream cheese and spread out across all the edges of your sliced ham. Cut your green onion to the length of the ham and roll!

You can cut these into 1-inch bites for serving. Or if you are making this for meal-preps don’t bother slicing and store it for the week!

I’ve actually stopped cutting them as it seems to slow my husbands roll on devouring these. I made a batch of these and the next day I found my husband ate the entire bin. Not cutting them into bite-sized bits seems to help.

So so so so sooooo easy. The simplest things are the best in our book and these Ham Roll-ups definitely are the best in our book.
