This Keto Mimosa is the perfect low carb drink recipe! If you want a simple cocktail without the guilt and added carbohydrates, add this to your radar asap. It's the perfect party drink or weekend cocktail.
With just six simple ingredients, there's no reason that you can't enjoy this for brunch or as an after-dinner treat. There's nothing quite like sipping on a keto cocktail, loving the fact that it's not loaded down with carbs.
Traditional mimosas are made a tad bit differently but trust me when I say that this is the perfect drink for a beginner or anyone who likes to create drinks. If you're on the keto diet, this is going to be your new favorite drink.
This keto mimosa recipe is not only perfect for sharing with friends, but it's great to have during Valentine's Day, the Christmas holiday, or other times of the year when everyone is drinking and you want something to sip on as well. The pretty pink color would also work well for a baby shower or gender reveal.

Ingredients
Dry champagne - You can use whatever type of champagne is your favorite.
Frozen raspberries - Perfect for use when raspberries are not in season.
Fresh or frozen strawberries - Either option works fine.
Joy Filled Eats sweetener - This is my favorite sweetener for all my low-carb recipes. It is a combination of erythritol, xylitol/alluose, and stevia. There are alternative sweetener options mentioned on the printable recipe card below.
Half and half - Adds richness to the berry mixture.
Vanilla extract - For flavor.
How to Make a Keto Mimosa
Step One: Add the strawberries and raspberries into a saucepan and cook the berries on medium heat. Do this for 8-10 minutes. The berries should become liquid.
Step Two: Add the sweetener and stir to mix. Cook until the sweetener has dissolved.
Step Three: Take the pan off the heat and add the berries to a blender. Puree and then pour the mixture into a fine mesh sieve and collect in a measuring cup.
Step Four: Once you’ve poured all the berry mixture through the sieve, add a bit of half and half and pour that through the sieve as well. This helps some more of the berries push through.
Step Five: Pour the rest of the cream into a measuring cup and stir to mix.
Step Six: Add the vanilla and stir.
Step Seven: Pour the berry mixture into an ice cube tray and place it in the freezer.
Step Eight: Once ready to serve, add the berry cubes to a champagne glass and then pour champagne over the cubes.
This will melt the cubes, and you will have a berry delicious mimosa. Enjoy your keto mimosa!
Variations
Just be aware that any variations that you make will increase the net carbs.
Use fresh raspberries - If you want to add fresh raspberries, I recommend adding them after making the drink. Just drop them into the mimosa for a fun look and taste. You can also make raspberry mimosas by using all raspberries instead of a combination of berries.
Add a garnish - This low-carb mimosa could absolutely always use a garnish or two. You can put a sprig of something green on the rim (for looks only!) or drop in some fresh cranberries for a fun flavor.
Orange - Orange extract is a great way to add some orange flavor to the keto mimosa without increasing the carbs. You can also add a slice of lime on the side of the glass or even a couple of orange slices, too.
Common Questions
Can I add a citrus flavor to this keto-friendly mimosa?
You can. You can add a squeeze of fresh grapefruit juice, orange juice, lime juice, or even a simple syrup to change up the flavor. Don't forget that you can also add some mint as a garnish.
The thing about adding citrus flavor is that it can really overtake if you are not careful. I would recommend adding just a tiny amount and tasting before deciding if you want or need to add more. You can always add more. You can't add less once you have already added it.
Is this a sugar free mimosa?
It is! Besides the natural flavors from the fruits, there is no extra added sugar to this recipe. The sweetness from the fruit does a great job of making this cocktail nice and sweet without being overly sweet.
Can I make this sugar-free mimosa ahead of time?
In my personal opinion, this is best served fresh. While you can have the garnish ready and prepped in the refrigerator, the pouring over the cubes needs to happen right before you are going to drink it.
The ice cubes do have to be made ahead of time, so this is not a drink recipe that you can make and drink right away.
📖 Recipe

- 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
- ¼ cup Joy Filled Eats Sweetener (or see alternatives in recipe notes)
- ½ cup half and half
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, pour raspberries and diced or frozen strawberries in pot. Cook the berries over medium-low for 8-10 minutes or until they become liquidy.

- Remove from the heat and puree the berries in a blender. Pour the berry mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a glass measuring cup.

- Pour the remainder of the cream into the measuring cup and stir to combine.
- Add in vanilla extract and stir.
- Pour berry mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze.
- When ready to serve, add a few cubes to each glass and pour the champagne over the cubes. The cubes will melt making a delicious mimosa.
