This easy gummies recipe will remind you of those fabulous creamsicle ice pops you ate as a kid. Orange Creamsicle Gummies are easy to make and ready in under an hour.

Orange Creamsicle ice pops remind me of being a kid on a hot summer day. The orange ice outside and vanilla cream inside. I used to eat all the orange off before starting on the vanilla part.

I don’t think my kids have ever had a creamsicle pop because they all pick chocolate anything given the choice but on occasion, I do prefer the orange and vanilla combo over chocolate.

How to Make this Easy Gummies Recipe

Making gummies is very easy! Just dissolve the gelatin and add the other ingredients. Pour into molds and let them set in the fridge. If you’ve ever made a box of Jell-O you can make these.

How long do these gummies take to set?

They set really fast in the fridge. I was taking pictures of them an hour after I started.

Which is better: orange oil or extract?

Orange oil works the best in this but you can use extract if you need to.

How many gummies does this make?

This recipe makes about 45 gummies depending on the size of your molds.

Can I Sub in Coconut Cream and make them dairy-free?

Yes, coconut cream (the thick part of coconut milk) can be used in place of the light cream.

Instructions

  • Combine first six ingredients and until very warm. TASTE IT. You can add more orange oil or extract, more vanilla, more sweetener. Tailor it to your taste buds.
  • Slowly whisk in the gelatin until dissolved. Add the orange juice if using.
  • At this point I pour it through a mesh sieve to strain out any pieces of gelatin that didn't dissolve.
  • Pour into silicone molds and refrigerate until firm.

Notes

Notes on Sweeteners:
I use my own blend of xylitol, erythritol, and stevia in my recipes. This is twice as sweet as sugar. It is comparable to Trim Healthy Mama Gentle Sweet and Truvia.
To sub in Swerve or Lakanto Monk Fruit use 1.5 times the amount of sweetener called for.

To sub in Pyure or Trim Healthy Mama Super Sweet use half the amount of sweetener called for.

Substitutions will work in most recipes. They may not work in candies, such as caramel.

  1. I loved these! I just got my silicone molds earlier this week. I got them specifically to make these gummies. They sure fulfill that craving for a chewy candy. Thanks for sharing!5 stars

  2. YUM! My daughter and I just made these. I just ordered the molds for us and this was our first try at gummies. They aren’t even set yet and they’re a hit. I’m curious how these do if packed for snacks at school. Probably a morning snack, but have you had any experience with packing them in lunches etc? Any tips or advice?5 stars

  3. Can I use regular sugar instead of Stevia, Im not a fan of that stuff?.. and how much should i use?… thanks!

    1. I’m not sure. Sorry. I would look for a gummy recipe that uses regular sugar and then add the orange extract and cream to that.

    1. You can just use one of the sweeteners to your taste. I don’t like plain stevia but using it is cheaper than just using gentle sweet.

  4. Going to try this out soon. I previously tried a recipe that used Jello and the flavor was too artificial and made me feel sick, so I love that you use orange oil, which is the best! I have the lime/lemon/orange set of oils and I love them. Thanks for the recipe!

    1. Hi Lori,

You should keep them in the fridge. They last at least a few weeks.

      Thanks for visiting 🙂

  5. I can not wait to try these! They look delicious. I would love to know where you found you molds? I have looked everywhere for some and can’t seem to find any. I have checked Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and several other places. Thanks in advance, and I love your recipes!!! Thank you for all the hard work and willingness to share!
