This is one of my favorite easy meals. The main part of it, the bacon wrapped chicken tenders, have just two ingredients. They take less than 5 minutes to prep and making the dip also takes less than 5 minutes.
These are great for parties because you can just eat them with your fingers. I guarantee they will be gobbled up in no time. I love serving hot appetizers for get-togethers but they have to be easy. I don't want to be stuck in the kitchen instead of visiting with my friends and family. I love appetizers that can be made a couple of days ahead and just reheated or ones with very little prep on the day of the event.
For a dairy-free and paleo option just sub your favorite dairy-free dip in place of my ranch dip.

I love this recipe and it freeze’s perfectly for a quick appetizer too! We make this on the smoker! Just make sure you have the ingredients on hand to make up the dip! This is a family favorite!

Do you spray the baking sheet first so they don’t stick?
Taryn says
The bacon releases enough fat to grease the pan. They don't normally stick for me. You can spray the pan if you want.

Made this for super bowl and it was super easy, very tasty! It was actually even better last night when I reheated it in the air fryer!
Michele says
Could these be cooked in the air fryer?
Taryn says
Yup! They take about 8-10 minutes at 400. Just make sure the tenders reach 160 on a meat thermometer.

So delicious!! Thank you

The whole dip would be 4.5 carbs which isn't much, but I just wanted to let you know if someone is being very strict with their carbs. Thank you for the recipe, it's delicious. If there is a carb free sour cream, please let me know so I can run and get that brand. Lol

These are amazing! Love the ranch dip!

Could you freeze these as a make ahead meal too? I can’t wait to make them!
Taryn says
No, sorry. I don't think these would freeze well.

Where is the Carb count?
Taryn says
These have 0 carbs. That's why you don't see a carb number. I changed it to 0.1 so it shows up to avoid confusion.

Tried the dip right after whipping it up and this will now be our go to dip for everything. Tasted just like name brand chip dip to us. Before starting keto chips and dip were a huge thing. Now we can have zucchini chips and this homemade dip guilt free. Amazing recipe!

I love that you’ve included the nutrition info but how much is one serving size??
Taryn says
It says it near the top of the recipe card, there are 12 servings. Each serving is calculated for 1 chicken tender with about 1 tbsp of dip.

I have made this recipe twice! So good and the dressing is to die for!!

I'm assuming that the instructions "Place on a baking sheet; bake for 35-45 minutes" showing up twice was an "oops" and that it actually should not be baked a total of 70-90 minutes, correct?
Taryn says
Correct! I'll edit that. Thank you.

I made these for the second time tonight, and both times I have been amazed at how delicious they are! And that ranch...YUM!! Thank you for a great recipe!

How long in your smoker?

This looks wonderful. I don't see a THM rating on this recipe as I do on many of your others. Was this an oversight? Thanks
Taryn says
It's an S because of the bacon 🙂
