It's safe to say that anything that tastes like peaches or is flavored like a peach (or even nectarines) is probably going to be very high up on my list. I love the natural sweetness that peach flavoring brings and I also love that it's such a naturally sweet fruit as well.
You know that feeling when you bite into a fresh peach and the flavor is rich and vibrant and it just tastes like summer? I love that. But when I'm eating a keto diet enjoying an entire peach can definitely throw off my macros.
That is why I've made this simple vinaigrette recipe with a peach flavor without the carbs.
I've made this so many times and I really don't think I'll ever get tired of it. This is what you're going to think every time you make this peach dressing, too. The more that I make it, the more that I want it. And the more that I want it, the more things that I find to pair perfectly with it.

Ingredients Needed
Once you see how simple it can be to make your own dressing at home, it really is a game-changer in how you make and eat salads.
- Avocado oil - Since avocado is a superfood, this adds even more health benefits to your salads and recipes.
- ChocZero peach syrup - This syrup is keto-friendly and great for getting that sweet peach flavoring. It is mostly fiber so although the total number of carbohydrates may seem high the net carbs are very low.
- White balsamic vinegar - Add a fun pop of flavor that is the perfect pairing with the sweetness.
- Water - This is just used to thin it out.
- Kosher Salt - You can season to taste. The amounts I list for salt and pepper are always just guidelines.
- Freshly ground black pepper - Using fresh cracked black pepper is worth it in simple recipes. You can taste the difference.

How To Make Peach Vinaigrette
This simple homemade vinaigrette will make every bite taste just like summer. It's so light and refreshing and delicious!
Step 1: Combine all ingredients into a small food processor or blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
Variations & Substitutions
The main thing with variations of this is to keep the same parts of each ingredient. I use one part water, one part vinegar, two parts oil, and two parts ChocZero Syrup.
Olive oil - I'm a huge fan of avocado oil in salad dressings but extra virgin olive oil or light olive oil could also be an option as well.
Flavored syrup - You can easily make this same simple recipe with other flavors of syrup, too! ChocZero has Maple Syrup, Blueberry Syrup, Strawberry Syrup, Raspberry Syrup, Mango Syrup and they are always coming up with new fun flavors.
Vinegar - You can play around with using regular balsamic vinegar, apple cider vinegar, red wine vinegar, white wine vinegar, or any other vinegar you enjoy.
Spices - Fresh garlic, fresh ginger, herbs, citrus zest. You can really add little bits of anything you like to this dressing. I recommend playing with the flavors in small quantities before making a whole batch. You can just make a tablespoon or two of dressing at a time until you get it perfect.
How to Serve Peach Vinaigrette
My favorite salad is a simple combination of baby spinach, red onions, a few slices of fresh peach, and roasted salted pecans. But here are some more great options:
Protein - Grilled chicken breast is the protein most often associated with salads but you really can change it up and use sliced pork or turkey as well. Milder flavored protein pairs better with this dressing.
Cheese - We like adding a crumbled cheese like feta cheese, blue cheese, gorgonzola cheese, or goat cheese to this salad. Shredded manchego or Irish cheddar would also pair well with the peach dressing.
Greens - My favorite is baby spinach but a spring mix, field mix, or chopped kale leaves work too. Fresh basil is a wonderful compliment to the sweetness of the peach salad.
Vegetables - Grape tomatoes, white, yellow, or red onion, shredded carrots, ripe avocado, broccoli florets, shredded red cabbage, or any other vegetable you enjoy are a nice addition.
Fresh fruit - If you are watching your macros it would be better to top your salad with strawberries, blackberries, or raspberries.
Common Questions
What is the difference between dressings and vinaigrette?
Both are used for salads and meals but there is a difference between the two. A vinaigrette is lighter and made with few ingredients while a dressing tends to be a bit thicker and is often made using less healthy ingredients that have more calories and fat content.
What does vinaigrette go with?
This is the best part of the vinaigrette. It pairs perfectly with green leafy vegetables, fresh vegetables, and even pairs perfectly as a drizzle for some fruits, too.
How do I make my vinaigrette thicker?
If you want it to be just a tad bit thicker, you can add in a little bit of xanthan gum to do the trick. Just stir it in and see if you like the consistency at that point in time.
Is vinaigrette dressing healthy?
Comparing this to other types of dressing that you can buy at that store, this is going to be a much healthier option to add to your salads and foods.
How do you store vinaigrette?
You're going to want to keep this nice and cool so putting it into a glass jar and storing it in the fridge is going to be your best bet.
Can you freeze vinaigrette?
This actually wouldn't do well in the freezer. I'm not saying that it can't be frozen but it is going to separate in the freezer and freeze that way. If you do freeze it, just make certain to give it a good shake and stir once you unthaw it.
