Preheat oven to 350. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Combine all the ingredients and fold them together. Form into 6 burgers. Place each on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Cook in a large skillet sprayed with cooking spray for 7-8 minutes until the bottom is browned. Flip and cover with a lid. Cook an additional 5-8 minutes or until 160 on a meat thermometer. OR Bake for 20-25 minutes or until 160 degrees on a meat thermometer.
Notes
Nutrition: this makes 6 burgers. They have 0.5 NET carbs each. Substitutions: swap the cheddar for mozzarella cheese, gouda, swiss, or pepper jack. Prep Time: you can prepare the patties up to 24 hours ahead of time. Keep airtight until ready to cook. To Reheat: warm the leftovers in the microwave for 1-2 minutes or until hot. You can also warm them in the oven at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. To Freeze: place burger patties on a baking sheet and flash freeze. Once frozen, move to another container. Thaw before reheating.
